Do you have a good initiative that you need money to realize? Then you can apply to
at Studenterfonden af 1963.

The Student Foundation of 1963 is administered by the students and provides financial support
for student political, academic and social initiatives at Aarhus University. In special
cases, support is also provided for activities that also include students
other than students at Aarhus University.

Who can apply?
The Student Foundation of 1963 is open to everyone. The funds support a wide range of initiatives
including social events, grants for lectures and study trips. Virtually all
types of initiatives are eligible for funding, but applications that benefit many students
are more likely to be approved than applications that benefit only a few students
.

Grants are not awarded to individuals or for associations’ general operating expenses.
You can apply for both planned and existing initiatives.

What does the foundation support?
Studenterfonden af 1963 provides financial support for academic, social and cultural
activities among the students at Aarhus University.
In 2026, there will be a single grant round in October. Application deadline is October 18, 2026.

Applications must include:

Complete project description
Accounts or budget for the activities in question.
Information must be provided about funding applied for or granted from other sources
Associations and similar must submit information about the association’s finances
Completed application form (see link below)

Note! Documentation of expenses incurred for initiatives that have been granted
funding must be sent to legal@au.dk no later than 3 weeks after the event. This can e.g.
be copies of payment receipts or other. If expenses cannot be documented,
no support will be paid
after the commitment.
