Guidelines for the Activity Pool 2024
Do you have a great idea for a new project at your university or is your organization struggling financially? Then you can apply for a grant from the Student Council’s activity pool.
The purpose of the activity pool is to provide financial support and grants for academic and student political activities, events and campaigns.
Who can apply?
- Subject and faculty councils
- Student-run projects and associations
The activity pool supports:
- Grants for academic and student political activities, events and campaigns
- Starting up new professional and/or student political associations
- Professional and/or student political associations threatened with closure
The activity pool does not support
:
- Operating grants for existing associations
- Events that are purely social in nature
- Study tours under 40 people, however, taking into account the size of smaller associations.
- Individuals
- Events held before the application deadline
How much can you apply for?
- You can apply for up to DKK 2,500.
Prerequisites for applying for support:
Applications for academic and student political activities, events and campaigns must include the following:
- Name, studio, email and phone number of the contact person
- Basic information about the applicant and the applicant’s bank details
- Project description, including expected number of participants
- Total budget for the activity/event and what any support will be used for
- Date and schedule of the activity/event
- If the money is to be paid before the event is held, please also note this in the application.
If the above conditions are not met, we reserve the right to
Reject the application.
Must be submitted after the event:
- Receipts/receipt of expenses for the activity/event held
- A short report on the organization of the event and the actual number of participants.
Applications for funding to start up new associations must also include the following:
- Annual accounts and annual report 2 years after receiving funding
Applications for support for associations in danger of closure must also include the following:
- Annual accounts and annual report 2 years after receiving funding
- Documentation of operation 2 years back
Deadlines for applications:
- Spring semester – deadline 15/3 and 15/5
- Fall semester – deadline 15/9 and 15/11
Reply to applications:
- Responses are generally received no later than 2 weeks after the application deadline.

Each application is assessed individually by the Activity Pool Committee. The activity pool has a fixed amount annually, which is why approval depends on the amount of relevant applications. As funding is a matter of priority, recurring events cannot be guaranteed funding every year. But of course we encourage everyone to apply!
