The Student Foundation of 1963.
The Student Foundation of 1963 is administered by the students and provides financial support to
student political, academic and social initiatives at Aarhus University. In special cases, support is also provided
for activities that also include education seekers other than students at Aarhus University.
Who can apply?
The Student Foundation of 1963 is open to everyone. The funds support a wide range of initiatives including
other social events, grants for lectures and study trips. Virtually all types of initiatives can get
funding, but applications that benefit many students are more likely to be granted than
applications that benefit only a few students.
Grants are not awarded to individuals or for the general operating expenses of associations.
You can apply for both planned and already held initiatives.
What does the fund support?
The Student Foundation of 1963 provides financial support for academic, social and cultural activities among the
students at Aarhus University.
In 2024, Studenterfonden will distribute a total of approximately DKK 15,000 over two rounds. First round in June
and the second round in November.
Applications must include:
Complete project description
Accounts or budget for the activities in question.
Information must be provided about support applied for or granted from other sources
Associations and the like must submit information about the association’s finances
The application must be sent no later than 05. June 2024. If the application is received later, the

Note! Documentation of expenses incurred for initiatives that have been granted funding must
is sent to legal@au.dk no later than 3 weeks after the event. This can be e.g. a copy of
payment receipts or anything else. If expenses cannot be documented, no support will be paid
by commitment.
